This day workshop will give the trainee the hands-on skills needed to begin treating acne and rosacea clients in clinic. They will be able to practice common exfoliation modalities and light therapies in the treatment of these common skin concerns. · Do you understand common treatment modalities and how to select equipment for your clinic? · Do you understand the common exfoliation modalities – Dermabrasion, acids and peels? · In this course we will teach LED Light Therapy Basics: red light, blue light and Infrared; collagen stimulation, wound healing and antibacterial qualities · We will cover a brief overview of Lasers: Understanding common laser treatments and expected outcomes · We will explain Peels: Superficial to deep, purpose and expected outcomes · We will have a discussion of other modalities, innovation and what to look for in new treatments and machines
