What are Advanced Treatments?
Advanced Treatments at Ever Young Training are those injectable treatments that only advanced cosmetic therapists are allowed to perform. They may be very specialised injectables, such as for a male face or an Asian face, or they may be an advanced treatment, such as chin filler or anti-sweating treatment.
At Ever Young Training we only use products we trust, administered by experienced professionals. As a model patient within our training environment, you will be eligible for a discounted rate.
The Advanced Treatment
The treatment itself will begin with a discussion of your medical history and expectations from the treatment. Your experienced medical professional will conduct a facial assessment and mark up the injection points that will be treated. It is a non-surgical procedure, administered into selected facial muscles by a trained medical professional, using a very fine needle. Generally, treatment takes up to an hour. Discomfort is typically minimal and brief, and no anaesthetic is usually required, although some numbing cream may be administered. The injection may sting for a short time but normal activities can be resumed soon after. After treatment you may have some slight redness and small bumps around the injection points which will settle in the following hours. There may be some bruising. On average, the results are seen between 2-14 days post-treatment and last around 12-18 months.
